KDP Tools was founded in 2024 by Alex M., an independent author and print-on-demand publisher based in Europe. After spending hundreds of hours manually calculating cover dimensions, comparing royalty rates, and building keyword lists in spreadsheets, Alex decided to build the tools that every self-publisher actually needs — and make them completely free.
